Use the links below to download course databases for each of three University of California campuses, as well as Stanford. There are more than 800,000 records of course names and descriptions, and many records include professor identification numbers which correspond to the faculty database available here. All data are stored in comma-separated files. In addition to our processed databases, you will also find links to the universities’ (raw) scanned course catalogs below.

Note: These databases were produced using the formatted optical character recognition (fOCR) protocol developed by UC-CHP, which computationally processes scanned books into computer-readable databases. The resulting output is somewhat error-prone. Please see Bleemer (2018) for details on the construction and quality of these data.
